How to Write a Quality Blog Post?

“Content is king”. How many times have you heard this?

You may have heard this more than 10 times and almost every blogger has written about the importance of quality content.

But,

Have you read a article about how to write a quality blog post?

Your answer might be “No”. That’s why I am going to share this post today.

Write at least two high quality posts per months as I have mentioned steps below.

1. Find an idea

You have to find a suitable idea before writing a post. You can easily find post ideas from top forums, blog comments, search engines, etc.

2. Write what you know

A first, write what you know. Don’t edit while you are writing. But you should separate your post in to sub headings (try to write your post in point forms because point form posts are better than long paragraph posts).

3. Research

This step may be the most important step to write a quality post because you have to write very accurate things.

At first, you can search what other bloggers have written about your post title. Don’t forget to read comments on those posts because you can find much useful information from those comments.

Other important resource is forums. You can find the other people opinions about your topic using forums.

4. Complete your post

Now you can edit your posts with what you have found from the research. Now it should have well format also.

5. Keyword researching and selecting a heading

It is up to you. According to your target, you can select an attractive tile or SEO friendly title. If you want more search engine traffic you have to select SEO friendly title (Keyword researching is must for that).

If you want to create a conversation around your post, attractive title is the suitable title for you.
Don’t forget that there is no point in writing a high quality post if your post title is very boring because, no one would read your post if it hasn’t eye catching title.

6. Pay attention about following things

Grammar and spelling mistakes

I am also not perfect in English, but I always try to reduce grammar and spelling mistakes, You should also pay attention about grammar and spelling.

Remove unwanted sentences

Even though search engines like long paragraphs, you have to remove unwanted sentences because loyal readers are more important than search engine traffic. So include only necessary things to your posts.

Bold and italic

You can bold and italic the most important points in your post.

7. Insert a image

“A picture can Say a thousand words.”

So include a suitable image for your post.

8. Interlinking

There are few WordPress plugins which help to interlink your posts, but my recommendation is to do it manually. Interlinking helps to reduce bounce rate also.

9. Again read your post

Read your post again and if you found any mistakes you have done then correct it.

10. Publish it tomorrow

Don’t publish your post today itself. You can publish your post next day because you may get new points (ideas) when you go to bed tonight.
